Wistow ECO Group

Wistow ECO Group THANK-YOU

Following the social media campaign 15 people turned up to join Rich Harrison’s ECO group of Wistow to  start the litter pick on Sunday 12th Dec with a further 3-4 coming along and joining in later. The targeted main roads were covered and picked, but, because of the increased numbers many other areas were also picked ending with a considerable amount of Rubbish bags for Selby Council to collect.

The ECO Group would like to thank Selby Council for their support and also thank those residents who interrupted their Sunday morning to make a mark in the appearance of Wistow village. It is the intention of the ECO group to meet again in the New Year in the Black Swan to discuss future ideas and events, so keep your eyes peeled on social media and the website www.wistow-village.com.
