Village Hall AGM
I hereby give notice that an Annual General Meeting of the Wistow New Jubilee Hall will be held on Tuesday 4th December 2018 to be held in the Jubilee Hall, Upstairs room.
The meeting is programmed to start at 7:00pm. Members are reminded that the Wistow New Jubilee Hall Annual General Meeting is only open; as far as voting is concerned, to residents of the Parish of Wistow, although users are welcome to attend.

If you want to become involved then put your name forward. Even if you just want to put forward some of your ideas for the future then come along to the meeting.

Bowling Club at Cawood
If you have ever fancied having a go at outdoor bowling you are invited to come and have a go at Cawood Recreation play area. We are a friendly group who play in the Selby and York league's .We would like new members male or female young or not so, to join in this social outdoor activity starting in May 2016.

One Hundred years on
Service at the War Memorial 10:45am
Beacon of Light commemoration of WW1 will take place at our own Beacon 7:00pm
(On top the flood bank, Marsh Lane and Lordship Lane junction)
Beacon will be lit by Charlotte Fothergill whose Great Grandfather died in the war.
Names of all those who lost their lives in world war one will be read out.
Wistow All Saints Church bells will ring out 7:05pm
The Black Swan are offering refreshments for those wishing to continue their remembrance
